The team received active support from Dr Prem Reddy (NATA Advisory Council Chairman), Dr Mohan Mallam (President), Rajeswar Reddy Gangasani(President Elect), Dr Raghava Reddy Ghosala (Executive Vice President), Bala Indurti (Past BOD and Atlanta Convention Convenor), Srini Vangimalla (BOD), Srinivas Kotlure (BOD), Ravi Kandimalla (Oversees Coordinator) and other members from NATA Advisory Council, Executive Committee and Board of Directors. NATA team has announced support for Annamacharya Bhavana Vahini run by Dr Shobha Raju. Atlanta priest Sri Keshava Murthy, who is also the President of the Temple, and eleven priests from Tirupati and Vizaganagram.
The devotees were mesmerized by the outstanding rendering of Annamacharya Keerthanalu by Dr Shobha Raju.ĭr Shobha Raju was conferred the title of “Soul of Annamacharya” by NATA at the concert. Hundreds of Hindu devotees attended the momentous and ritual-studded grand five-day inauguration ceremonies from June 10-14, 2015, of the Sri Maha Lakshmi Temple of Atlanta at 1637 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, Georgia.
The concert was a great success with more than 250 Telugu families attending. Record number of students (both adults and children) have attended the workshop and learned singing of Annamacharya Keerthanalu by legendary Dr Shobha Raju. NATA (North American Telugu Association) organized a work shop (music lessons) on Annamacharya Keerthanalu beginning from 13 Keerthanalu on 18th July at Hindu Temple of Atlanta, both by Padmashree Awardee Dr Shobha Raju.
